Hey Everyone! Sorry, I've been busy the last few days and last night my internet went out when I was ready to come online. >.<* I've also been busy making various purchases here and there and will blog about them in the next few days.
Monday was the last day to be able to use my V.I.B. 15% discount coupon so I went back to take look around. I decided to pick up a back up Shu Uemura eyelash curler since Shu Uemura is pulling out of the U.S. I also picked up the new blush by MUFE--HD Microfinish Blush and MUFE HD Microperfecting Primer. (You can click on my pictures for a bigger version of it.)
The HD Microfinish Blush that I bought is #8 PDA. It is a pinky nude color. I really like the color. It's a small bottle but you really need to use only a little bit. I find it a bit tricky to apply since I don't want to rub it onto my cheeks, atlhough that may be the best way to put it on. I use a stippling brush to pat it on and then use a slanted blush brush to lightly blend it in. It looks really natural on and it lasts a long time. I took this picture late last night, approximately 15 hours after I put it on. It didn't really fade and I didn't really see much oxidization.
The HD Microperfecting Primer that I bought is in Mauve. The MUA that was helping me just happened to be the MUFE MUA and she was awesome. The mauve primer is to counteract sallow undertones. I was talking to her about how I find that using powder to set foundations brings out my fine lines as well as using concealer. I also told her that I like the Temptu but don't like to spray it on under my eyes so I need to use regular foundation to get good coverage. I told her that I thought about trying a BB cream for to help with coverage under my eyes. She said that she doesn't like to use concealers or heavy foundations under her eyes either because it does cake up and bring out the fine lines. Since I already use MUFE Full Cover Concealer, she suggested that I mix the concealer with either my moisturizer or primer. By doing that, it provides enough moisture to keep it from caking up and gives a more natural look. I still had about 1/3 bottle of the HD Primer in Neutral, I mixed up my concealer into the primer bottle and have used it for the past couple of days. I really like it! I also use it to touch up under my eyes during the day and it really feels nice. It was a great suggestion from the MUA.
On a personal note, the other night my husband commenting to me that I looked like I was glowing. He said that in fact, lately I look like I'm glowing. He meant it in a nice way and not like I was glowing like a disco ball or anything. Gee, what nice compliment. I wonder what it is that is making me look glowy--Temptu? I wasn't wearing the Temptu that day. Perhaps Miracle Worker?
And this has nothing to do with beauty at all but my Arashi Anniversary Concert DVD arrived! I am so happy! This is my favorite JPop group!

Hi Kat
Do you think you look a lot more glowing since Temptu? What a compliment! My skin seems terrible at the moment - thank god I can wear makeup.
I really like the look of the MUFE blush! I ordered an extra Shu curler in my last Sephora order too! - unfortunately it will take about a month for it to get to me (stupid US postal agent). Oh well, life's like that.
I love Arashi too! My fave is Matsumoto Jun. I love it when you post about non-beauty stuff because it makes me realise we have a lot in common!
take care

Thanks for commenting BV.
Wow, we do seem to have a lot in common! My fave in Arashi is Ohno Satoshi (Riida). I think that he's so squishable. LOL.
I really don't think that it is the temptu that has been making me glow more. I'm not sure what it is. Perhaps it's because I stated beauty blogging that I'm more aware of how I look and take better care of touching up my makeup during the day.

Heh Arashi are so cute! It is so funny how we have these things in common.
I'm sure you are glowing more, I wonder what it could be and how I could also get it!
Take care
