Half Year Favorites--Long and Pic Heavy

I decided to do a half year favorites. Most of what I decided to list are items that I use just about every day. A lot of them have been used for pretty much the full 6 months, some others are products that I may have just started using but really like and I'm quite sure they'll become standards.

Cleansers

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelettes. I have used this for well over 3 years.
Noevir 99 Line Deep Cleansing Massage Gel.
Noevir 99 Line Gentle Foaming Cleanser. I have been using Noevir since October or November. I used to use it a long time ago and then switched to something else.
Clarisonic Brush

Skincare

Mornings:
Sana Soy Milk Whitening Very Moisture Toner. I just started using this so I'm not sure if it's helping to lighten my complexion.
Lancaster 365 Cellular Elixer. This is a serum.
Noevir 99 Line Moisturizer
Noevir Raysella Sunscreen. This has zinc in it.
Lancaster Retinology Eye Cream. I usually use Noevir's Eye Cream but I ran out and have been using something else and I don't like it much. I will buy Noevir's Eye Cream again soon and alternate between Noevir and Lancaster.
Noevir 99 Line Protecting Skin Cream

Nights:
Noevir 505 Line Revitalizing Balancing Lotion
Lancaster 365 Cellular Elixer
Kiehl's Midnight Recover Concentrate
Noevir 105 Line Moisturizer
Eye Cream--either Lancaster or Noevir
Noevir 99 Line Protecting Skin Cream

Eyes

Mezaik Double Eyelid Stretch Fiber. I love, love, love this!
Trish McEvoy Lash Enhancer Nighttime Conditioning Treatment. This is a project currently in progress. Will update every two weeks.
Talika Lipocils
Shiseido Mascara Base
K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner
MAC Paintpot Painterly

Face

Benefit Eyebrow Powder
MUFE Powder Foundation. I use this as a concealer.
Maquillage Moisture Cream Foundation. This is a little too heavy for wear during the humid summers but I love it during the cooler weather times.
Maquillage Moisture Finish Powder Foundation
Kanebo Cofret D'or Beauty Essence Pact. I love the compact case--it's so pretty!
Lioele Beyond Solution BB Cream
Bobbi Brown Luminous Moisturizing Foundation
Temptu Foundation
Dior Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Radiance Enhancer. This is my primer.

Bath and Hair

I used a variety of shower gels. The one in this picture happens to be The Body Shop Japanese Cherry Blossom.
Noevir Tokara Shampoo and Conditioner
Shiseido Tsubaki Damage Care Hair Mask

Fragrance

Dior Addict Shine. I am not a fragrance person. I could never find a fragrance that would wear well on me. The scent would always change into something not so nice after wearing it long enough during the day. This is the first fragrance that doesn't change on me. It is a light fragrance which does not arrive before you do and doesn't linger after you leave.

Sorry that this was so long. If there is anything that I haven't done a review on and you're interested in, please let me know and I'll be happy to do a review.

Review: Lippmann Nail Polish--Again

I know that I have previously talked about Deborah Lippmann nail polishes, and more specifically the amazing Dream and Little Dream. I really love this polish! You can read my previous post HERE. What I don't think that I mentioned was that there is another formulation similar to Dream A Little Dream except that it has gold-toned iridescent shimmer to it. I recently picked it up. It is called Diamonds and Pearls.

I decided to do a quick swatch using the two polishes to show you just how amazing they are. Since this was just for a visual, I did not use any base coat or top coat. Here I used Don't Tell Mama as the main color on all 3 nails. Don't Tell Mama is a very deep emerald green color and it can look black depending on the lighting. Next to Don't Tell Mama is Dream A Little Dream, which has blue iridescent shimmer to it. I absolutely LOVE this one. And next to Dream A Little Dream is Diamonds and Pearls, which has the gold iridescent shimmer. This is also a beautiful color and works great with warm colors.

In the same order as the nail polishes, I have them swatched on my nails. I used two coats of Don't Tell Mama on all 3 nails. First nail (pointer finger) has only Don't Tell Mama on. My middle finger has one decently thick coat of Dream a Little Dream. Using this on top of Don't Tell Mama, turns the color into a beautiful deep teal color. On my ring finger, I applied a decently thick coat of Diamonds and Pearls. Voila! Using this over Don't Tell Mama, the color turns into a bronzey brown color. This color is really beautiful too.

I need to buy more regular nail polish colors to be able to apply overcoats of Dream A Little Dream and Diamonds and Pearls on. As much as I don't like to do manicures, it's making me want to do so because I'm enjoying seeing the transformation of colors.

Update--Visee Blooming Eyes PU-2

In my previous post, "Anonymous" commented and asked me to describe the two darker shades in this eyeshadow palette. I happened to describe the two colors as being brown although the color coding on it is PU-2, which means it is a purple palette. Honestly, I also wondered about it as I wrote my original post. "Anonymous" also said that she saw the colors as dark, dusky purples and not browns as I had said. I promised that I would go back and look at the palette carefully and do swatches, etc.

I'm keeping most of the pictures in this post at the original size but I don't want to overload this post with its size so please click on the image to enlarge it. Here is a close up of the palette. I took a picture with no flash and a picture with flash.

No flash

With flash

The picture with no flash, is more true to color in regular lighting. It seems to me that the colors appear more in the brown tone. The medium-toned eyeshadow looks kind of like a malt brown.  In the picture with the flash, the liner does look like it's a very deep (and pretty) purple. The medium-toned eyeshadow does look like a dusty purple, although I still think that it has a malt color to it.

I did swatches of the shadows on a white cardstock, and I also took pictures with flash and without flash.

The swatch with no flash, the two colors that we are discussing, looks brown to me. The swatch with flash, you can see the purple tones in it.

I also took a picture of the q-tips that I used to swatch the eyeshadows.

The q-tips look brown to me, although with the lighter shade, I can detect a hint of purple. Sorry, I can't remember if this was with flash or without.

Mai came over this afternoon to keep me company since I can't really go out and walk around the mall because of my injury. We examined the palette in different lighting and after much discussion, this is what we came up with...in bright, natural lighting (sunlight) if you tilt the palette a certain way, you can definitely see it is purple. However, when it is in indoor lighting and/or darker lighting, the colors show up as brown. It was truly interesting to examine this palette.

I also ended up taking off my makeup and redo-ing it using only this palette (except I primed with MAC Painterly). I'm finding that as I work with it more and more, I'm really loving this palette.

It is perfect for an everyday look. I'm thinking of getting a backup of it since it is a limited edition item.

To "Anonymous", I hope that this was helpful to you. Thank you for asking me to examine this further. It was fun for me and I found it very interesting.

Visee Blooming Eyes PU-2 Review and EOTD

Today's EOTD is using the Visse Blooming Eyes PU-2 that I got as a gift from Shihoco san from Pladge Blogspot. Thank you Shihoco san! This palette is, I believe, a limited edition item. The design on the case is really beautiful, as is the embossing on the eyeshadows. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of it before I used it. I tried doing my makeup according to instructions on the plastic box that the case comes in. However, it was too pale on me and I looked a bit washed out, however, I think that if I applied the colors the same way that I did today, it would have been okay. I decided to combine it with a couple other colors, one of which is pretty much a standard for my daily makeup.

The eyeshadows themselves are quite nicely pigmented, but quite typical of Japanese eyeshadows in that they are lighter in color. The shadows feel nice and silky and I really didn't experience any fallout.

Products used today:

MAC Painterly
MAC Neutral Pink
MAC Sushi Flower
Visee Blooming Eyes PU-2
K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner
Talika Lipocils

Primed eyes with Painterly. From the Visee palette, the pink/peach color from crease line to eyebrows, the silver color from crease line to just under brow bone. Sushi flower on entire eyelid from lash line to just above crease line. The dusty medium brown color from the Visee palette from middle of eye to outer corner of eye from lash line blending to above crease line and lightly blending in contour area toward inner eye. The darkest brown color in the Visee palette is actually a cream liner, however, the feel of it is kind of a powdery cream so I used it as a shadow instead of a liner on my upper eyelid. I created a sideways "V" in the outer corner of my upper eyelid and blended inward on the fold. Here's where my EOTD nearly became a fail because I thought that I could also lightly blend it in the contour area of my just under my inner eyebrow area. Unfortunately, it didn't blend as I wanted it to so to "erase" the darkness of it, I applied more pink/peach and silver shadow over it but it didn't quite do it because then I looked washed out the way that I do when I use pastel colors in the contour area. So out came my trusty MAC Neutral Pink and I applied that in the contour area and it gave me enough color so that I don't look washed out. Whew! I also used the dark brown liner shadow to line the outer half of my lower lash line and the pink/peach color to line the inner half of lower lash line. Blend the colors well in the center where they meet. Lined my upper lash line with K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner and Talika Lipocils on my eyelashes.

Hey BV, if you look carefully, right in the crease line it's
kind of dark. That's the Mezaik stretch fiber. It kind of showed up
more than normal in today's EOTD. If I closed my eyes, you would
be able to really see it.

I'm so glad that I was able to fix my mistake because I truly didn't want to redo my makeup. I really like this Visee palette. Thank you again Shihoco san for the wonderful gift!

Omiyage (gifts) and Mask Product Review

After I wrote my review on SkinFood Peach Sake BB Cream, Shihoco from Pladge Blogspot commented on how she'd like to try a BB cream that smelled sweet like in my review. Knowing that I wasn't going to be using this BB cream again because it was too drying on my skin, I asked her if she wanted it. It would be so wasteful to just have it sit in my cabinet and not be used. It really is a lovely BB cream, I just wish that it was more moisturizing. So I sent her the SkinFood BB cream and the Etude House BB cream, along with a few other items that I wasn't using.

In return, she sent me some wonderful things! I received 2 boxes of Kose Clear Turn White Masks--one with collagen and one with Vitamin C. Both of these have also have 12 different extracts to help whiten and smooth your skin. The round puff is to do face massage. It seems very interesting to me. There was also a beautiful black scrunchie, Hi-Chu candy, a pack of Japanese cookies--yes, I already ate a pack--YUMMM!, Japanese chili pepper powder, which is from her region in Japan and Visee Blooming Eyes PU-2.  I was so happy to receive all of these things!

Sorry, my kitten wanted in on the picture.
I mentioned this before but her name is
Hime chan, which means Princess. She
really is a princess--she even loves
being in pictures and wants to try beauty products.

Yesterday I was really sick and had a horrible headache. I was going to put an ice pack on my forehead but I decided to use the face mask instead. The last time I had used a different face mask, it was quite cooling so I was hoping that there would be the same cooling effect. I decided to open and use the Collagen face mask. This was at around 11:30 a.m.

The face mask was very saturated but it doesn't drip at all. I think that I have a smaller-sized face but after some minor adjustments, it fit well. It felt very nice and did have a slight cooling effect. Since I wasn't feeling well, I lay down and actually dozed off with it on. After approximately 20 minutes, I pulled it off and there was quite a bit of product left on my face, which I patted in and worked into my skin. My skin looked much brighter and smooth. It also actually helped to ease my headache to the point that it was nearly gone. Later on in the evening, oh around 10:30 p.m. or so, I looked in the mirror and my face still looked really nicely hydrated and happy.

Thank you Shihoco san!

Mentholatum SunPlay Skin Aqua Moisture BB Cream Follow-Up

My original review is here,

At the time I felt that the Bobbi Brown Luminous Moisturizing Foundation in Beige 3 was too light while using this BB cream because the BB cream really made my skin tone lighter. I said that I wanted to try getting a sample of Cool Beige 3.25. I finally went to Nordstrom and my Dior MUA referred me to a Bobbi Brown MUA. She showed me that the Cool Beige would actually look lighter than even Beige 3 because of the pink undertone to it. She suggested that I try Warm Beige 3.5 instead. She gave me a sample to try.

Original picture using Bobbi Brown Luminous
Moisturizing Foundation in #3 Beige. I look like a ghost!

This is using Bobbi Brown Luminous
Moisturizing Foundation in #3.5 Warm Beige.
The coloring is much, much better!

I really like the result! The color combined with the BB cream, is closer to the coloring that I like for my skin tone.

Some Bumps in Life

Hello Everyone! I'm sorry that I've been missing for a few days.

On Wednesday night, I lost my internet. It was problems with my wireless adapter. I was so bored that I ended up going to bed at 11:00--that's super early for me!

Thursday morning I woke up with a horrible headache and intestinal problems so I ended up sleeping the whole day away. I had absolutely no energy to get up and even look at the computer. Husband joked that my computer was probably in shock. LOL!

An even bigger disaster was that I injured myself at work on Saturday. I fell on my knee and since Monday I've been having problems with the workman's comp insurance--not that they don't want to approve the claim but I can't get the adjuster to call the doctor's office with the approval that I can make my appointment. Finally today I personally called the adjuster and told him that I wasn't happy that he has taken so long. I will finally see the doctor on Monday. Hopefully it's nothing more serious that just a banged up, bruised knee.

Anyway, enough of my sob stories. I will be working on some posts that I will put up a little later today.

Green EOTD

In the past, I hadn't been able to find greens that work on me. I finally found a combination that seemed to work well.

Products used:

Maquillage GR764 (Spring 2010 LE)
MAC Remotely Grey
MAC Humid
Canmake Shading Powder 01
Dior Ultra Smooth High Impact Eyeshadow 486 Bronzy Night
Smashbox Halo Hydrating Perfecting Bronzer
K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner
Talika Lipocils

Today, instead of my usual MAC Painterly for base, I used the cream base in the Maquillage palette. MAC Remotely Grey over contour area, from crease line, blending up into brow bone. Very lightly applied Canmake Shading Powder in contour area between inner eyes to create illusion of a nose bridge. Maquillage Light Green Eyeshadow on eyelid from lashline to just above crease line. MAC Humid on outer half of upper eyelid blending to just above crease line and blending towards inner eye in the crease. Dior 486 Bronzy Night in ">" shape on outer upper eyelids. Also lined outer half of lower lashline with Bronzy Night. Also very lightly did a "<" shape to upper inner eyelids using Bronzy Night. (I hope that this all makes sense.) Using the Light Green from Maquillage, I lined inner half of lower lashline. Smashbox Bronzer was used on brow bone as a highlighter. Lined upper lashline and outer half of lower lashline with K-Palette eyeliner. Talika Lipocils on eyelashes.

I think that all of my EOTD's are pretty much similar. Not really exciting, huh.

Challenge: Trish McEvoy Lash Enhancer Nighttime Conditioning Treatment

I used to have really long and full eyelashes but time marches on and as I aged, my eyelashes have gotten skimpier. I had been looking into various eyelash enhancers and have been using Talika's Lipocils for over a year now. I don't think that it has done much. Not quite a year ago, Mai started taking enzymes to help with her digestion. The one thing that she noticed was that her eyelashes started returning. I kind of laughed it off but decided to try taking the enzymes too. To my surprise, my eyelashes did start to grow! I think that it is now being maintained but I still want to have my eyelashes be more like it used to be. I thought about Revitalash but worried about the darkening of the eyelid. My Dior MUA suggested Trish McEvoy's Lash Enhancer Nighttime Conditioning Treatment. I purchased it today and am starting it tonight.

According to Trish McEvoy's website info, this treatment has the highest possible concentration of potent SymPeptides along with an abudance of powerful proteins, vitamins and moisturizing ingredients. It helps to strengthen, hydrate, condition and nourish eyelashes.

You apply a single application every night. There is the promise of fuller, stronger and healthier lashes. With using this product nightl for only two weeks, you can experience as much as a 25% increase in volume. You can also brush this on your brows in areas where you are sparse and it will promote growth.

It is in a shiny tube, much like mascara or eyeliner. There is a brush like an eyeliner brush and you carefully apply a thin line along your lashline.

Sorry for the blurred pic

Here are my start pictures:

We'll see how my lashes look in two weeks. Wish me luck!

Today's EOTD

A few posts back I mentioned that I wanted to play around with the Dior 208 Navy Design Eyeshadow Palette. Today's look is using that palette in conjunction with a couple of colors from others.

Products used:

MAC Painterly
MAC Neutral Pink
MAC Contrast (Deep Sapphire Blue)
Lunasol Star Shower Eyes 04 Star River
Dior 208 Navy Design
Canmake Shading Powder 01
Shiseido The Makeup Mascara Base
Estee Lauder Illusionist Maximum Curling Mascara (trial size)
K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner

I primed eyelids with Painterly. Neutral Pink in contour area from above creaseline all the way up into brow bone. Used the center color of the 208 Navy Design Palette from lashline to just above creaseline, over entire eyelid. From the Navy Design Palette, I then applied the navy eyeshadow (upper left corner of palette) to the outer half of upper eyelid, blending it upward above creaseline and into the contour area. MAC Contrast was applied in outer corner in a "V" shape just to add a pop of color. Also used it to line the outer half of lower lashline. Using the Lavender eyeshadow from the Lunasol Star River palette, I applied to the outer corner of my upper eyelid and lined the inner half of the lower lashline. Very lightly applied the white shadow from the Dior palette as a highlighter to the brow bone. Canmake Shading powder was applied down the sides of my nose especially between the eyes to create some depth to my nose bridge. Curled lashes with Shiseido eyelash curler and applied Shiseido Mascara Base. I then lined the upper lashline and outer half of lower lashline with K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner. Finished the look with my trial size of Estee Lauder Illusionist Maximum Curling Mascara.

I'm going to try to do a couple more EOTD posts this week.

Review: Mentholatum SunPlay Skin Aqua Moisture BB Cream SPF 27 PA++

As I thought, I received my new Sasa order on Friday. I couldn't wait to try out the newest BB cream, my first actual purchase of a BB cream.

I actually first learned of this product from a post on Lotus Palace here: http://lotuspalace.blogspot.com/search/label/BB%20Cream

I was so impressed when I applied this. The texture is on the thicker side and provides one of the best coverage in all of the BB creams that I have tried. Unfortunately, it comes in only one color and it is quite light for me. If it matched my skintone better, I would probably go ahead and use this alone on some days--it provides that much coverage. It is lightly scented and isn't unpleasant at all. Again, as with the other BB creams that I have tested, the scent doesn't linger.

Scary face--only prepped and primed (Using Dior primer now)

Decided to do pics w/only half of face done.
See how white it is on me.

I didn't realize it until after I saw the pictures but it does seem that this BB cream provides some glow to your skin. I like it! The finish of this is not quite matte but almost matte. Most importantly, it does provide hydration, although I do not think as much as Hanskin Caviar Gold or Lioele Beyond Solutions.

After applying my Bobbi Brown Luminous Moisturizing Foundation in Beige 3, my face was way too white! Late Saturday night, I went to Nordstrom to get a sample of the foundation in Cool Beige 3.25 but I wasn't able to get one. The regular Bobbi Brown MUAs were not working at the time and the MUA helping me couldn't find it--nor could another MUA who came to try and help. I'll try to go there tomorrow to see if I can get that sample because I think that it'll work out a lot better with a darker foundation.

With Bobbi Brown foundation. Still nice and glowy but too white.

Face fully done with bronzer and blush

It seems that there might have been faint fading and some oxidization but then again, this was after 14 hours of wear.

This is closer to what my coloring should be.
I don't want to wait 14 hours for it to turn out right.

To be fair, I will have to retest this to see how much it does oxidize. I decided that my face was way too white so I ended up lightly applying bronzer over most of my face after I took the "just finished" pictures. The only touching up that I did was to apply powder foundation to my nose because my sinuses are acting up. I think that I might be coming down with a cold.

I will test this out more and hopefully can get the slightly darker foundation to play with.

Compiled BB Cream Review Part 2

As Lisa mentioned in the comments in my previous post, I didn't mention the scents of the various BB Creams. I totally forgot to put those into my review. Thanks for reminding me Lisa!

SkinFood Peach Sake Pore BB Cream--Lightly scented and very pleasant. My favorite of all the BB cream scents

Etude House BB Magic Cream--Kind of a medicine smell. Reminds me of Bactine.

Hanskin Caviar Gold BB Cream--Barely there, pleasant scent.

Lioele Beyond Solutions BB Cream--Lightly scented, pleasant. Reminds of me a grandmother type of powder scent.

SkinFood Mushroom Multi Care BB Cream--Initially, I thought that it had a pleasant scent. I was worried that it would be a woodsy, musky type of scent. On 2nd use, it still had a kind of pleasant scent but I did notice an after scent, which I didn't care for much.

Tony Moly BB Cream--Same impression as Lioele Beyond Solutions BB Cream.

Skin79 Super+ Beblesh Balm (Hot Pink)--Very lightly scented, almost barely there.

Note: The important point for me was that the scents do not linger after you put them on. I think that it is a good thing.

Compiled BB Cream Review and Final (?) Decision--Picture Heavy

All of BB creams tried, even with light coverage, it did provide enough coverage to help foundation hide a lot of blemishes. Face actually looked airbrushed. In fact, when Mai saw me she thought that I had used the Temptu, which I hadn’t.

SkinFood Peach Sake Pore BB Cream and Etude BB Magic Cream

I’ve combined these two together because both were a thumbs down for me. These were both too matte and not hydrating at all. They didn’t work well for me.

Hanskin Caviar Gold

Light coverage, light in color, kind of an ashy color out of the tube but blends in nicely. Indeed moisturizing and hydrating. Skin with foundation on looked brighter. After 12 hours of wear, didn’t matte or emphasize fine lines. One thing that really pleased me was that it didn’t oxidize.

Lioele Beyond Solution

Color of this one is darker and matches my skin tone better than Caviar Gold. I still feel that it makes my face look a little white although on the swatch it looks quite dark. This one has a heavier coverage than Caviar Gold, but not by much. It also feels like it has a bit more of a matte finish but it still works with my skin and doesn’t bring out the fine lines the way most matte products do. This is not as hydrating as Caviar Gold and is not as glowy but it does wear quite well, even after 12 hours of wear. No real oxidization.

SkinFood Mushroom Multi Care

The color of this is in between Caviar Gold and Lioele. It is thicker so it provides more coverage, which is nice. Finish is again, in between Caviar Gold (CG) and Lioele, in that it’s more matte than CG but less matte than Lioele. This BB cream doesn’t seem to sink into the skin, it kind of sits on top so I found that after a few hours, it melted together with my foundation and looked marbled. I had to pat my face to put things back into place. After 12 hours of wear, I think that this oxidizes a bit. In looking at my photos, it does seem that my face looks a bit more orange.

Tony Moly

Color is very similar to Lioele. Coverage was probably the lightest with this BB cream, too light for my liking. It’s not a matte finish but not exactly a dewy finish either. After applying foundation, the overall look is good. After 12 hours of wear, I felt that it had been hydrating. I didn’t really do any touch ups. I think that like the SkinFood, this one does oxidize a wee bit.

Skin79 Super + Beblesh Balm (Hot Pink)

The color of this is very similar to CG. I even thought that it looked ashy coming out of the bottle. It did blend well on my face though but again, the color was quite light. This BB cream, like the SkinFood, doesn’t blend well into the skin, it just sits there on top. I did have to touchup a couple of times during the day. I had to powder my face, which I normally don’t do because it emphasizes the fine lines. Surprisingly, it didn’t show up over this BB cream. The finish, because of the powder, definitely is more matte and not glowy.

Swatches

The Verdict…

I realize that I ask a lot wanting to be able to wear my BB creams and foundations for at least 12 hours and not to have to worry about touching it up. Of course, if necessary, I will touch up and it’s not that big of a deal, as long as it’s not “Oh horrors! I really need to touch up!”

The final pictures in order (After 8 hours or more):
Hanskin Caviar Gold

Lioele Beyond Solution

SkinFood Mushroom Multi Care

Tony Moly

Skin79 Super + Beblesh Balm (Hot Pink)

Throughout all of the testing, it was really between Hanskin Caviar Gold and Lioele. I really liked CG because it gave me such a glowy finish, even with foundation on. The complaints that I had is that the coverage is a bit light and the color is quite light for me. It’s also a slightly ashy color. I think that I can work with that by wearing a slightly darker shade of foundation. Lioele I liked because the color was a much better match for me, albeit still slightly light. It’s also not a dewy finish, which I really like. Yeah, I guess that I like to glow. LOL! I like both because these two have the least amount of oxidization, if any at all.

In the end, I found the perfect foundation sitting in my cabinet so I choose Lioele Beyond Solution BB Cream. Towards the end of last year, I attended my first Nordstrom Trend Show and had a makeover done at the Bobbi Brown counter. I bought the foundation that the MUA used but after wearing it several times after that, I felt that the coverage was too light for my liking, even though it’s supposed to be a medium coverage foundation. I spent the weekend going through all of my containers, cabinets and bags of makeup to clean up and weed out the things that I’m not going to use any more. I found the Bobbi Brown foundation and decided to give it a try with the BB cream since I’m getting more coverage from it. It’s perfect! My complaint with the Lioele is that it’s not glowy. Bobbi Brown Luminous Moisturizing Foundation in Beige 3 is the answer. It gives me that glowy, luminous finish that I liked with CG.

Lioele w/Bobbi Brown Foundation after 8 hours

See my glow even after more than 8 hours?

So that’s my experience after almost a month of experimenting. This is my own experience and result from BB cream testing. I have to say that all of these BB creams were given to me. The first two were gifts from a friend who went to Korea on a trip. The rest were from another lovely blogger who had used them and didn’t like them. She was ready to throw them out so I was really blessed to be able to receive the BB creams. Is it my final experimentation? Uhh…nooo! I have ordered and it should be arriving in a day or two, a BB cream that I ordered from Sasa. It’s Mentholatum Sunplay SPF27 PA++ Moisture BB Cream. I also want to order from A Pop Of Kawaii and try Kanebo Freshel Moist Lift W BB Cream. I don’t think that I will order this until some of the Fall 2010 makeup releases come out so that I can order all at the same time.

I hope that this was helpful to you.
