Note: This is a scheduled post
One of the things that I decided I needed to do was to use my stash before I buy more makeup. (It really hasn't been working in that I've still been buying some makeup.)
This is the progress that I have made so far:
The Body Shop Shea Shower Cream. I will definitely not be wanting to replenish this. I really detested the scent. It is quite strong and has what I think is a musk scent, which I do not like. I'm finding that in general, I'm not liking The Body Shop products. For a brand that is supposed to be natural, their products are very strongly scented.
Not sure if I should be including this or not but I decided to include it. Jean Philippe Deep Cleansing Hand Soap in Pink Grapefruit. I got this a while ago when Bed Bath and Beyond opened up here in Hawaii. It was only $1.00. It can't compare at all to Bath & Body Works soaps, which I absolutely love. I still have a couple more bottles in different scents and I will definitely not be replenishing this except with Bath & Body Works, which I can pick up when I go to Las Vegas at the end of this month or when they open up here in Hawaii in March (unless it got delayed. I haven't heard anything.).
Dior Capture Totale One Essential Skin Booster Super Serum. I did like this a lot and loved the concept of it in that you use it before toning. It's expensive so I don't think that I'll be buying this again.
L'Occitane Fabulous Serum. I really like this serum. It's actually the 2nd bottle that I've used. I will purchase another one again when the need arises. I've replaced it with Cle de Peau Anti-Spot Serum which I also really like. I've been lucking out on ebay and was able to pick the Cle de Peau serum twice at a very reasonable price. If I can continue finding a good deal on it, I will continue to use Cle de Peau. If not, then back to Fabulous Serum since the price on it is reasonable.
Noevir 99 Line Protecting Skin Cream. This is one cream that I can't live without. You apply it after toner, serum, moisturizer as a final protective, moisturizing layer. I've already purchased a replacement and will need to purchase another one soon.
That little sample container had Bremmen Upper Eyelid Lifter. I used it all up and must admit that I liked it. It's the one eye cream that is made specifically for the upper eyelid. While I don't believe that I experienced any lifting, I do think that it helped to firm my eyelids so that it was less crepey looking. I want to replenish it but don't want to spend money on it right now.
Noevir Raysela Face Protector UV SPF 30+ PA+++. This is a sunscreen, which is a very important step in anyone's morning skincare routine. I love this sunscreen because it's not greasy and is actually a bit moisturizing. I also like this because it is zinc oxide based instead of chemical based. For those who want to know the difference I found this very simple explanation here. Of course, this is just my own personal perference. I have replenished this.

whoa Kat you've used up a lot of products! YAY!!! im thinking of doing a 'finished products' post as well. :)
congrats on finishing all these! it's actually quite an accomplishments looking at the empty jars and bottles! feel no shame buying some new makeup as we all do lol
@coffretgorge & @Fruity Lashes--I have to admit that when I decided to do this "use my stash" a lot of those products were nearly done anyway, so it really wasn't that big of a deal. The 3 items that really do go quickly for me though are the Fabulous Serum, Noevir Protecting Skin Cream and the Noevir Raysela Sunscreen. I use these items religiously.

what does the fabulous serum do :)?? congrats on finishing all these up!!!
I love these posts, it reminds me I need to work on mine. I got so caught up with the holidays that I couldn't!
I love bath and body works too!
Everyone always does their haul posts and you don't see many of the whats used up posts! I always like these and now I get too see your final thoughts on your used up products. Great stuff Kat. I am going to do this too! x
I'm working on using up my stash as well. It's an exciting experience. But if I really do detest something, I'll just throw it away...
Thanks again for commenting on my recent blog post. I really, really appreciate your support, especially from someone I've met in person!
Nice post! I've been trying to do the same thing. Finishing up some stuff I got before purchasing new ones. But sometimes I just can't help myself. lol.
Oh and I also prefer zinc oxide sunscreen instead of the chemical ones, too. I think it's less irritating for my skin and it doesn't leave that yellowish stain.
YAYYY *applause* for finishing so many products =D
i feel the same way about the body shop~
but some scents are really nice =D
@Jennifer--L'Occitane Fabulous Serum has repairing and protective properties. It's formulated to rescue skin damaged by harsh conditions. According to their website, for repairing, it is "concentrated in natural origin hyaluronic acid, it instantly smoothes fine dehydration lines. A complex of cereal and dry fruits extracts (nut, chestnut and wheat) helps to regenerate the skin by stimulating cellular renewal and helping to reactivate the lipid synthesis." For protecting, it is "rich in Shea Butter (5%), it helps to restore skin barrier function, to protect against harsh climate conditions and maintain an optimal hydration level for 24 hours. The Shea shield extract, with anti-pollution and antioxidant properties, protects against daily environmental aggressions".
I personally love products with shea butter in it because it is quite moisturizing. It has a creamy consistency but is easily absorbed by the skin.
It is for dry or dehydrated skin.

@Brianna--I can't wait for Bath & Body Works to open up here.

@Kei Kei--Thank you very much! I'm so glad that you enjoyed this post. I don't really like doing haul posts much because I feel like I might come across as if I'm bragging, although I really am not. I don't feel that way reading other people's haul posts and actually enjoy reading those very much. I usually try to do a review post instead which then shows that I did indeed do some hauling and here it is with a review.
Looking forward to reading your "use my stash" type of post too.

@K--I have done that where I've thrown away something that I absolutely couldn't use, no matter how hard I tried. It's such a waste though. Sometimes I'll pawn it off on Mai hoping that she'll like it...or my family. Remember my post where I said that I didn't like the Fekkai shampoo and conditioner. My sons and hubby are using it cause they ran out of shampoo. No complaints from them though.

@Catmare--Thank you for visiting, commenting and following! Welcome to our humble blog.
Don't worry, I can't help myself either and I've gone ahead and bought some things even though I've been trying not to. It's hard when something seemingly awesome comes along.
I'll go and take a look at your blog later.

@Steph--*Bows* Thank you, thank you! I don't know if I'll have a whole bunch of stuff at the end of this month that I've used up but hopefully there will be something.

Oh thank you for the comment... yes i need to draw up the list soon LOL! thanks to your email its helped a lot! im sorry for lack of response. will get down to it now that i have time off from work now and Sunday!
@Nic Nic--Thank you! Actually the sunscreen is supposed to be closer to SPF 50 because it's zinc based.
Don't worry about writing back an email. Just make sure to take some time for yourself and get better.
