Tony Moly BB Cream Review and FOTD

Hello Everyone!

Well, it's 12:33 a.m. and there's a wild party going on down the street and they are making big noise. I hope that it doesn't go on until too late.

Continuing on with my BB cream testing, I bring to you today Tony Moly Secret BB Cream Natural. I had read quite a bit of mixed reviews on this BB cream so I was a little wary. The color on this is quite nice for my skin tone.

I thought that I would get a little heavier coverage with this cream but it actually was a bit light for my liking. It goes on nicely and while it's not a really dewy finish, it's not exactly matte either.

As with the other BB creams that I've tested so far, despite the light coverage, the overall look after I apply foundation is quite good.

Here I finish my makeup with Smashbox Halo Hydrating Bronzer, MUFE HD Blush in #8.

I also applied the remaining blush on my lips over Bobbi Brown Lip Balm and finished with Dior Addict High Shine Lipstick in #346 Sensation Coral.

So now for the moment of truth...I need my makeup to last me at least 12 hours, which is a major problem with regards to oxidization and muddiness. It's a tall order since I can't do anything matte to my face since that will bring out the fine lines.

Tony Moly after more than 12 hours

Caviar Gold after more than 12 hours

Lioele after more than 12 hours

SkinFood are more than 12 hours

My thoughts after a day of wearing the Tony Moly BB Cream...I think that it's a thumbs up. The only thing that I did to touch up was to powder my nose a bit since I rubbed off my foundation  and to pat the area under my eyes and above my cheekbones after 8 hours of wear. It stayed hydrating enough that it didn't settle into fine lines and didn't really oxidize. To be fair, today wasn't humid like the way it has been for the last week. However, I did stand over the stove frying for over an hour and had something cooking in the oven which needed flipping over halfway through cooking.

For my eyes today, I used the Lunasol Star Shower Eyes Palette 04 Star River. I was really pleased with this palette as well. The colors on this are lighter than the 03 but still nicely pigmented.  After my usual prepping, I applied MAC Remotely Grey in the contour area of my eyes, blending upwards toward the brow bone. Used the lavender color from lashline to above crease line. Dark charcoal gray in outer half of eyes from lash line to above crease line and blending upwards into contour area. I did a light sweep of the white color over entire eyelid. I then applied Neutral Pink on the inner half of my contour area sweeping towards browbone. This is to give my eye some added depth. Smashbox Halo bronzer on browbone to highlight. Lined upper lashline with Dejavu Fiberwig Lasting Fine gel pencil and tightlined the middle area of my eye, right above the iris. Lined the outer 1/3 of bottom lashline. Talika lipocils eyelash conditioner on lashes.

I have one or two more BB creams to test out and review. I will blog about those soon.

P.S. It's now 1:12 a.m. and it's all quiet! Party's over--YAY!

Wow, the change is pretty dramatic! I'd say that's a thumb up too ^^ Definitely evened out your skin tone nicely and seemed to have great staying power

Yep, I think the Tony Moly works well! I've always found coverage of BB to be too light to use on its own... but works great as a base!!

I just had to tell you I LOVE LOVE LOVE your EOTD and seriously am thinking of getting that Lunasol palette! While I think Lunasol is a bit pricey - I also admit they have beautiful eyeshadows!!

Thanks for commenting BB Cream Queen. I'm finding it quite interesting being able to test and review all of the different BB creams that I was able to acquire.

I agree BV--the BB creams are great as a base. I could never use it alone.

Thanks for the compliment! The Lunasol eyeshadows are really great. Yeah, they are pricey but I'm finding it comparable to Dior as far as price goes. Since the Lunasol is well pigmented, it's worth the price for Japanese eyeshadows.

Do you have a list of the ingredients for the Tony Moly Lovely BB Cream?

Hi Ivy! Thanks for reading. I am sorry, I do not know what the ingredients are for Tony Moly Secret BB Cream Natural is. It's all in Korean and I can't read it. If I can find someone who can read it for me, I will post back here again. I even looked all around at the various places that were selling the BB cream and I can't find an ingredient list either, plus a lot of the vendors are not selling it any more. I wonder why...
