This is actually supposed to be a quick post although I'm combining 3 different things into it.
I received a love package from the awesome Justine of Sakura Lovely. She sent me a package packed with so many wonderful things to delight body and soul. A very small portion of that package was a collection of L'Oreal Color Infallibles! Most of them were the newly released colors with one or two from the original release.
Left to right, top row: Innocent Turquoise, Metallic Lilac, Tender Caramel, Permanent Kaki
Left to right, bottom row: Pepsy Coral, Sahara Treasure, Sassy Marshmallow
Justine has an extensive collection of the Infallible eyeshadows along with an extensive list of the different colors. There are releases that are exclusive to only certain countries and she has that listed as well. Please go and look through her blog to read up on all of her reviews. I was going to link but there are quite a few. You'll be impressed by her collection as she has almost all the colors.
This past Saturday I wasn't going to wear any makeup but had to go out so I decided to play with the Infallibles. My EOTD consisted of:
Pepsy Coral
Metalllic Lilac
Dior Ultra Violet
K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner
After my usual eye prep, I applied Pepsy Coral to inner 1/3 of eyelid. Metallic Lilac was applied to outer 2/3 of eyelid and blended upward toward the outer corners. Ultra Violet was applied in outer V to create more depth. Lined upper lash line and outer 1/4 of lower lash line with K-Palette. Ultra Violet was applied over K-Palette on lower lash line and blended gently towards mid eye.
It's my usual eyeshadow application technique. I didn't apply it very heavily but it came out nicely. I'll have to apply it a little more heavily the next time I use it as it's a bit too light for my liking.
Thanks Justine for the beautiful Infallibles. I'll have to reveal the rest of your package later.
