I am doing this as a double review because it is the same product line. I wasn't quite sure whether to do the review as a purchase or a gift because it was more like a trade. I oftentimes will pet sit for my friends who travel to Japan and Korea and instead of getting paid, I have them pick up things for me. This duo was one of the things that I got.
First up is Perfect Puff makeup removing pads. I really like Neutrogena Makeup Remover wipes and the significant difference between the two is that Neutrogena is an actual wipe and true to the name, Pefect Puff is a puff or pad and is similar to the asian puffs that I use to apply toner and liquid eye makeup remover except a bit larger and thicker.
I found it difficult to use Perfect Puff because I'm so used to the size of the wipes. I find the wipes easier to hold and use to swipe and rub across larger areas of my face. Perfect Puff is a little more difficult for me to handle and doesn't easily rub. Another significant turnoff for me is that when I use Perfect Puff, a strong alcohol odor is present. I looked up the ingredients and discovered that alcohol is second on the list of ingredients. I'm not happy with the fact that there is alcohol in it as it is too drying for my more mature skin.
Perfect Whip facial cleanser is your typical cream type of cleanser, which squeezes out of a tube. It does whip up quite nicely and cleans my face well. I do find my face to be a bit on the tight side after I dry it. While it is a good cleanser, I find Naive Aloe facial cleanser to be much more hydrating.
As a side note, the next week and a half will be quite busy for me at work so I'm going to try to do some scheduled posts.

Sad to hear that neither products worked too well for you. I used to like Perfect Oil (I think it's called that) but it's way too heavy and doesn't rinse off completely. This line of products just doesn't seem to work on people in general =(
i hv tried the Perfect Milk and find it works pretty well for me. I bought the Perfect Whip as a backup so I'm hoping it works better for me than it did on you =|
thanks for the reviews!
and hope u get thru the busy weeks ok!! xo
i left a comment but it didnt go through, dont know why
anyway i just wanted to say, i never tried the perfect puff. the wipes didnt promise much so i didnt bother to try them
now with ur review, i dont think i ever will
Oh dear! Alcohol is a no no for my skin! I love your pet-sitting swap - great way to pick up new Asian beauty products!
Shucks... but we never know until we try right? LOL I still wish Naive made that Grapefruit foaming cleanser...
@Sheila--It was quite disappointing that the Perfect Puff has such a high alcohol listing in it. The Perfect Whip is okay but could be a bit more hydrating. I will still use it as a facial cleanser. Perhaps just apply moisturizer soon after washing instead of way later when I'm ready for bed.

@ShinyPrettyThings--You're way younger than I am so I'm sure that Perfect Whip will work well for you. It's okay, just a bit of tightening of the skin after a few minutes of using it.

@Yumeko--If you don't like things high in alcohol, then I wouldn't recommend it. Hope you're doing well!

@Jamilla--You and I are alike! No to alcohol--in beauty products at least. Actually, I don't drink either so I just say no to alcohol period! I'm glad that I decided to to pet sitting swap instead of them paying me. I've gotten a lot of great things because of it!

@Dina--Thank you! I will take a look at your blog too.

@Wuzzyangel--Agree! Gotta try it before we know whether or not we'll like it. Sometimes things will surprise you. Yeah, too bad about Naive Grapefruit foaming cleanser. I'll definitely take a look for it when I'm in Japan--just in case. You never know!
