Picture from Lancome website
According to the sales associate, this product was 10 years in the making. Doing some online research, I have read that it's 12 years. Whether it's 10 years or 12 years, the main point is that it took a significant number of years to develop this product. You can check out this link on Lancome's website which explains the product reasonably well. The one very disappointing thing is that I couldn't find a full ingredient list--anywhere online. Perhaps I'm just not searching well but I personally think that this is important information which should be easily accessible.
I was a bit skeptical because Teint Miracle was touted as being a break-through product after 10 years of research. I tried Teint Miracle and was not impressed by it at all. On me, it didn't do what it said it would do. Genefique was also another product that I was disappointed in.
The sales associate applied one pump onto the back of my hand and rubbed it in. It did feel quite nice and the skin did seem to have smoothed a bit. I left and by the time I reached home, I could not stand it any more. It is highly fragranced and the fragrance lingers! I washed dishes twice and still the scent lingered. For those who do not like scented products, this is definitely not for you. One main reason why I went in search of the ingredient list is because I wanted to see if it contains silicone as the surface of my skin felt like smoothed out like when I've tried products with silicone in it. Upon waking up the next morning, that area where the product had been applied did seem to still be smoother--could it be because of the product having penetrated the layers of the skin? Remember, this product was applied in the afternoon of the previous day and I had done numerous hand washings, washed dishes and showered. If Lancome can produce this product unscented, I would definitely want to test it out on face. As it is now, the fragrance is too overwhelming and lingers that I would probably end up nauseous and with a headache. To me, the scent reminds me of musk, which is not a scent that I like at all.

Aw, too bad this gave too strong of a scent. =[
BTW, it's been a while, but hope you've been well!
Lancome is known for scented cosmetics which I can't stand too much too. the 10 yrs research thing sounds gimmicky - maybe they've researched a number of products around the same time lol.
@tiffyama--If not for the scent, I would definitely want to get a sample to test out better.
Thank you, I've been fine. I hope that you have been too.

@Nic Nic--LOL! Perhaps they did do research all at the same time. I really wish that this wasn't scented so strongly. The major killer for me was that it's a very lingering scent.

Awww a shame about the scent. I have to say, scents do make or break a product!!!
Perhaps you can stop by the Lancome counter again to check out the ingredient list?
@Blair--Definitely scents can make or break a product. Since I won't be purchasing this product in the future, I really don't need to know what the ingredient list is.

Yikes I would be scared to use something that scented on my face, imagine if you use it daily you would smell like it all the time! I agree with Nic about how the research line sounds like a gimmick, I mean I would be more likely to believe them if they said "we've been working on this for a solid 2 years" than having all items 10 years in the making.
@Brianna--Yes, it really is unfortunate because I would have definitely tested it out better and for a longer period of time. I agree with you and Nic Nic that it does seem a bit gimmicky.

I was given a sample to try.. The scent was okay! It went away after couple of seconds. Tried for two days and went back to buy the full size.. Haven't noticed anything for my pore size.. But it def helped with my sun spots on my cheek..they are def lightened, and less visible!
@Janis--I'm glad that it worked for you. I was quite surprised when the scent lingered for so long on my hand where it was applied. This was also even after I washed dishes a couple of times. It's nice to know that on your face, it went away after a couple of seconds. Thank you for commenting!

Check out this link, maybe you'll change your mind and give it a try Kat!

LOL - I saw the article in the Daily Mail and looked up reviews for it - I'm glad I found an honest one.
Thanks!
@Anonymous--Thank you for the link but I definitely will not change my mind and try it again. The scent is just unbearable for me. Perhaps if it is reformulated and is unscented, then I might consider it.

@Anonymous--Thank you! I try to be honest in all of my reviews, good or bad. Of course, it is all my personal opinion.

Really interesting review! How ridiculous to invest so much time creating a product to then overpower it's selling point with too strong a scent. It's interesting how many companies are launching corrective products at the moment, so it'll be great to see who eventually proves the overall winner.
@BeautyGeekUK--Thank you for visiting, commenting and following. It was really disppointing to me that it was so strongly scented. You are right in that there are many other brands launching corrective products. I just saw an Avon commericial that I think was saying that they spent 10 years making some cream. I'm not positive since I wasn't paying attention to the commercials during the commercial break.

I had a huge reaction....T_T (http://yufeiisme.blogspot.com/) I wish I could use it, I have heard a lot of good things about it.... has anyone else had any issue with it apart from the scent?
Hi Kat,
I know.... Somehow now my ski is more sensitive than before. I never had an reaction before...apparently Visionnaire is sold out throughout out Australia. So guess it's good for most people. I'm actually considering laser for my scars. Any advice?:)

Hi, just wanted to put my view on here. I have an acute sense of smell and can honestly say that I didnt notice much of a smell from this product at all! I have been using it on my face for 3 days now and my skin tone looks so much fresher, smoother, more even and people have commented on how good my skin looks! I am impressed so far and hopefully my skin keeps improving!
Hi there!
I have been using Visionnaire for 3months now (that is how long the small bottle lasted me!) & I love it. Herez my review for the product:
1. Mostly Non-greasy: I carry it while travelling so I've been able to see the results in a tropical (India)climate as well as a cold one (UK). It is non-sticky & does not give your skin a oily look like most other anti-aging products / serums do, however, in Indian climate it does start looking a bit oily after 3-4hrs.
2. No reaction to day creams (none that I have noticed): I use a Bodyshop Seaweed Matifying Day Cream which is light & it can be applied over the face once the serum has been absorbed. There is no oily look or reaction - works very well for me.
3. Slight fragrance: Love the slight fragrance you get while applying the serum. Once its absorbed in the skin, the fragrance disappears after a while.
4. Results: The skin visibly looks firmer & smoother. It looks like that for the whole day - just gets a little oily after 3-4hrs (just dab the face with a tissue).
5. Price: Very very very expensive as compared to other anti-aging products.
Overall my skin looks good however I wanted to try it out for atleast 6months to see if it really works well for the wrinkles around the eyes so for now I have bought another bottle (50ml) which should last me for 3months or so....
