Using My Stash November 2013

Wow! I can't believe it's December already! Where has 2013 gone?

Here's the products that I used up in November:

Aquamoist Facial Cleanser and Daiso Sponge and Puff Cleanser

I really liked the Aquamoist Facial Cleanser. I was just given another one and it's in my back stock. You all have heard me rave about the Daiso Sponge and Puff Cleanser, which I used to deep clean/wash my brushes. I have a few more bottles in back stock.

Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner, Noevir Raysela Face Protector UV, Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion.

The toner was okay. I like the fact that it's alcohol free. I also like that it was a lot of product for a reasonable price. I'm not too particular about toners as long as they are not drying. The one thing that I didn't like was the dispensing cap. Although it's a flip top with a small hole, it still poured out very easily. As a result, my cotton pad would always get way too soaked. Noevir's Raysela Face Protector UV is my HG sunscreen product and something that I can get easily here. The other sunscreen item that I really like is Hada Labo UV Whitening Emulsion but I can't get this easily. In fact, I've been having difficulty finding it online. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion was a deluxe sample item that I had received. I didn't care much for it using it as a facial moisturizer so I used it on my neck.

Tony Moly and Face Q masks

I didn't do a good job of masking this month as I had hoped. It was my goal to try to mask every weekend. The Tony Moly mask was okay and I do like the Face Q masks.

Bare Escentuals Eyeliner brush and Maybelline Whisper lipstick

I found this brush as I was cleaning up. It has so little hair on it so I must have loved it well. I have not used it in so long that I'm not even sure what kind of brush it was but I'm guessing that it was an eyeliner brush.

As you can see, there are barely any hairs on it and what little hair is on there is all wonky.

Maybelline Whisper lipstick in 70 Rose of Attraction was my favorite lipstick. I love the color and the formulation. I will have to buy another one but I do have so many other lipsticks that I should use first.

Even though I've been using my stash over the past couple of years, I still have so much in my stash. I've been receiving products as gifts but recently I have done some hauling. I will continue to do these Using My Stash posts in 2014.

That is definitely one well-loved brush! I love these posts, they encourage me to use up what I have or to give away/toss things I never use! My mom recently got my naked 2 palette because I found it was not getting my love at all!

Wow that brush has definitely lived out of its value :D

It's great doing these empties post too I think? It makes me reflect and hopefully become less wasteful.

@Jenni--Yes, definitely gotten my money's worth on that brush. I agree with you that doing these posts really makes one reflect on our purchases and back stock.

Hi Kat, well done on the brush and lipstick! I've only ever finished using a lipstick only when it got melted by the ferocious Tokyo summer heat. I've def slowed down in makeup purchases because they take forever to finish. I've tossed out quite a few this year due to them being too old or smell weird. Too much makeup in my stash so a lot gets unloved. Anyway I like empties posts - keeps me motivated to use my stuff up!
