Infallibles EOTD #2

Today I present another EOTD using Infallible eyeshadows. This time I'm using Goldmine, Amber Rush and Eternal Black.

Products Used:

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Eden
L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows in Goldmine, Amber Rush and Eternal Black

K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner
L'Oreal Voluminous False Fiber Lash Mascara

Primed my eyes with Eden. Utilizing my standard way of applying eyeshadow colors, Goldmine is on inner 1/3 of eye, Amber Rush on middle 1/3 and Eternal Black on outer 1/3. Blended the colors together as best as I could--Infallibles do not blend easily. Lined my upper lashline and lower outer corner of lashline with K-Palette eyeliner. Applied mascara to my upper lashes.

Although you can't see it, I also used Time Resist White as a soft highlight on my cheeks.

I love this color combination as I think they all work together very well. Thank you to Lynn, Brianna and Vicky who gifted me with Goldmine, Amber Rush and Time Resist White, respectively. Vicky was actually the very first person who sent me an Infallible eyeshadow. It was exciting at that time because it was said that Infallible eyeshadows would not be released in the U.S.

Can anyone see what is different in the EOTD picture?

I love the eye look, Kat! Infallibles are so much fun to use/play with. I got my first infallible from Vicky too. ^^..but glad we were able to get a nice range of colors in the US too.

Hmm....I'm bad at finding differences...XD

Justine of Sakura Lovely guessed what was different but I won't reveal till others have a chance.

@tiffyama--Vicky is so sweet, isn't she? Yes, I'm so glad that it finally got released in U.S.

I don't know what's different, but your lashes sure seem long! Gorgeous look!

I love the way you blended the colours together! You're right, they are almost impossible to blend. This looks great! :D

Differences..differences...

Well I am assuming since JC already said your lashes look long and you didn't hide her comment that it's not that.

Er..............

Are you using a different camera?? It looks very clear? No idea. XD I am also not good at spot the differences!

I love this color combo on xou, Kat! Especially love the darker color you used on the outer corners to create definition and depth! <3

So pretty!! Hehe yay for being the first to send you a infallible, glad you like it! :D

Erm what's different? (So sorry of I get this totally wrong!) But single eyelid? Your previous EOTD, you had double eyelids :S hehe I think? XD

@Jamilla--Thank you! My lashes seem that way thanks to the mascara! Loving that mascara.

@Jian--Thank you! I think that you just have to be patient and keep on blending and blending and it'll eventually get there. I know most people have been using their fingers to apply the Infalllibles but I use my brushes.

Good guess but it's not a different camera, although I wish it were. Would love to get a DSLR. Hopefully that will be something I'll get this year.

@Jess--Thank you! The funny thing is that I do find it too neutral and I'm not a neutral EOTD person. I tend to like brighter colors but I do love the color combo and it's something that I will wear from time to time.

@Vanity-Fashinista--Thank you again for Time Resist White, especially since it's a color that is not avaiable in U.S.

You are correct! Justine guessed it first on Twitter but I'm impressed by how observant you both are. I was actually surprised that when I took the picture, the difference wasn't quite so obvious to me. It was only that way in that picture though. Seeing my whole face, you could tell.

Initially I thought that you applied some taupey purple shade on the outer corners but it must be the lighting. Eternal Black is a true black yes?

How do you like the K-Palette eyeliner? Is it much better compared to Dolly Wink?

Ahahah I had to come back to check what it was!

single eyelid?? It still looks double to me! I had just assumed that you had drawn your eyeliner thicker than usual, as if I do a dark smokey eye look I look like I have single lids!

I hope you can get a DSLR next year as well! Although your current photos are very clear and there is nothing wrong with them! xD It was just a stab in the dark really!

@Blair--Yes, Eternal Black is a true black. I love the K-Palette eyeliner! I haven't tried Kate or Dolly Wink so I can't compare them.

@Jian--LOL! It's actually got a really teeny crease in it but it was the first time that both eyelids became that way at the same time which is why I just left it.
