Review: Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Greed

Urban Decay recent released a new eyeshadow primer potion in the color Greed. Greed is a beautiful shimmering gold color. Sephora online now has it as an individual container but it was initially released in the Little Sins Eyeshadow Primer Potion Set, which I got since it's not instore here yet.

It comes with the typical doefoot applicator in the same packaging that many people dislike. So far I haven't found the bottle that it comes in to be a problem but that's because I still have quite a bit of product in my bottles of UDPP. (I have Original, Sin and Eden.)

My "go to" color is Sin and here's a comparison of the two:

Blended out

As you can see, the colors are as described with Greed being a shimmery gold and Sin being a shimmering Champagne.

I think that Greed does a wonderful job of brightening the eyelid area while Sin gives a more muted coloring. With it being winter here, I like the brightening effect and will have to purchase Greed in a full size. I believe that it is exclusive to Sephora but it doesn't say anything about it being limited edition.

For those of you who like sparkly (Steph), this is one that you should try out.

I have the UD primer in original! I saw that they had different ones at Sephora last time, but I wasn't sure how good they were. Thanks for the swatches! :)

I love sin in the e/s form, so the sin UDPP looks great! The new greed looks pretty too! Now if only they would get smart and start selling their makeup in Japan, they would seriously have a HUGE market here.

i haven't even tried the original UDPP and now there are so many variations already! LOL! greed and sin both look great when blended, im sure they make your eyeshadows pop out more. :)

@Denysia--I think that all of the primers are great. They all seem to feel same as far as performance and consistency. I like the options of being able to use different colors and finishes.

@Brianna--I agree with you that Urban Decay would do well in Japan.

@coffretgorge--I love using UDPP since it really does help to set my eyeshadows. I haven't experienced any creasing since I started using it.

@Starryxuan--You're welcome! I'm really happy with the new Greed UDPP. If you get a chance, I hope that you can test it out at your local Sephora, if you have one near you.

@BV--I debated whether or not to order that giant tube of UDPP but I decided that I like the colored UDPP more than the clear Original.
