Some Bumps in Life

Hello Everyone! I'm sorry that I've been missing for a few days.

On Wednesday night, I lost my internet. It was problems with my wireless adapter. I was so bored that I ended up going to bed at 11:00--that's super early for me!

Thursday morning I woke up with a horrible headache and intestinal problems so I ended up sleeping the whole day away. I had absolutely no energy to get up and even look at the computer. Husband joked that my computer was probably in shock. LOL!

An even bigger disaster was that I injured myself at work on Saturday. I fell on my knee and since Monday I've been having problems with the workman's comp insurance--not that they don't want to approve the claim but I can't get the adjuster to call the doctor's office with the approval that I can make my appointment. Finally today I personally called the adjuster and told him that I wasn't happy that he has taken so long. I will finally see the doctor on Monday. Hopefully it's nothing more serious that just a banged up, bruised knee.

Anyway, enough of my sob stories. I will be working on some posts that I will put up a little later today.

Thank you for your concern Jian!

I went to the doctor today and fortunately it's just a very bad bruise. Nothing wrong with kneecap and tendons. It'll just take a while for the pain to go away.

OMG how did I miss this????????
ARe you feeling better now? I am really worried because I have seen Mike Moore's Sicko and know that medical issues = big problems in the US!! Luckily I live in Oz which has free insurance for all + I also have private insurance which I have never used since I have been lucky enough to avoid serious injury - although I sometimes wonder why I'm paying for it...

Sending good vibes and thoughts your way for speedy recovery.
Much love

Thanks for your concern BV but I'm fine. Workman's Compensation Insurance will take care of everything so absolutely no cost to me. It's just a badly bruised knee, it seems. X-rays showed there was nothing broken and no ligament and/or tendon damage so it's all good. I'll go back in a momth to follow up and hopefully by then I'll be back to normal.
